Terms of Service

Planpilot is a web-based service for daily planning and task management using the timeboxing method. The service includes the following core features:

• Todo Management: Capture, organize, and manage tasks with subtodos
• Daily Goals: Daily prioritization on up to three main goals
• Timebox Planning: Visual daily planning with drag-and-drop time blocks
• Daily Notes: Personal notes for each day
• User Profiles: Individual settings and preferences

The Provider is entitled to expand, limit, or change the scope of the Service at any time. Significant limitations will be announced in advance.

Use of the Service requires registration. The following conditions apply to registration:

• You must be at least 16 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian
• You must provide truthful and complete information
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Each person may only maintain one account

The Provider is entitled to reject registrations without giving reasons or to suspend accounts if these Terms are violated.

The Service offers various subscription models:

• Standard (free): Basic features with limited functionality
• Premium: Extended features such as automatic carry-over, advanced statistics, and priority support

The following conditions apply to paid subscriptions:

• Current prices are visible on the website and include statutory VAT
• Billing is monthly or annually in advance
• Payments are processed through the payment service provider Paddle
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the end of the term
• Upon cancellation, access remains until the end of the paid term

As a user of the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not store content that violates applicable law
• Not violate the rights of third parties
• Not distribute malware or harmful code
• Not perform automated access without prior approval
• Keep your login credentials confidential and notify the Provider immediately of any unauthorized access

All rights to the Service, including software, design, texts, graphics, and logos, remain with the Provider or its licensors.

By using the Service, you receive a simple, non-transferable right of use for the duration of your subscription.

The content you enter (todos, notes, etc.) remains your property. However, you grant the Provider the right to store and process this content as part of providing the Service.

The Provider is liable according to statutory provisions only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to damages arising from injury to life, body, or health.

The Provider does not warrant:

• Uninterrupted availability of the Service
• Error-free software
• Data losses, unless attributable to intent or gross negligence

You are responsible for regularly backing up your data.

The protection of your personal data is important to us. The collection, processing, and use of your data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The following provisions apply to termination:

• The free Standard subscription can be terminated at any time without notice
• Premium subscriptions can be cancelled until the end of the respective billing period
• Cancellation can be made in the account settings

The Provider is entitled to terminate the contract without notice for good cause, especially in case of serious violations of these Terms.

After the end of the contract, your data will be deleted after a reasonable period, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be informed of significant changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, this constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account at any time before they take effect.

Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the original provision.

Swiss law applies, excluding conflict of laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract is Winterthur, Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions prescribe a different jurisdiction.
